McKENZIE - Mrs. Doris A. Walker, 76, died early Wednesday, June 25, 2005, at her home in Wildersville.
She was born October 12, 1948 in Union City to the late Albert and Zula Goodman Williams. She was a registered nurse and retired from Methodist Home Care in McKenzie and Community Health Systems in Lexington.
Mrs. Doris always gave 100% no matter what she did, and was very active in church ministry with Bro. Lynn. She was the epitome of a pastor’s wife and a blessing to all who knew her. She was a very gifted pianist and she loved going on vacations.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Bro. Lynn Walker; her son, Bryan Keith Craddock; her daughter, Jennifer Lynne Craddock Travis; her step-son, Billy Lynn Walker (Tara); step-daughter, Cassandra Ann Norris; one brother, Garland Williams (Shirley); nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Albert Williams, Jr., Elmer Williams, William Henson, and Ebb Henson and four sisters, Lillie Mae Black, Brenda Green, Francis Williams, and Elizabeth Williams.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Wildersville. Interment followed in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McKenzie. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington was in charge of arrangements.
