Dorothy Sellers Martin

HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Dorothy Sellers Martin, 92, of Huntingdon, Tennessee died Monday, January 10, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Sellers and Bro. Steve Martin officiating. Burial followed in Carter’s Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin was born April 26, 1929 in Milan, Tennessee to the late Alvin Thomas Sellers and May Sellers. She was a member of Carter’s Chapel Methodist Church, she worked for ITT for over 20 years and H.I.S in Trezevant before she retired. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. Martin, four sisters, Mildred Gregg, Mattie Cole, Gertie Dunn and Hazel Sue Sellers, seven brothers, Ray Sellers, Billy Sellers, Arthur Williams, Dean Sellers, Thomas Sellers, George Sellers and James Sellers.

She is survived by a son, Steve Martin of Huntingdon, two sisters, Shelby Laws of Evernest, Illinois and Nellie Myers of Cedar Grove.  She also leaves three grandchildren, Jason Martin (Daralyn), Lee Martin (Dianne) and Matt Martin, four great-grandchildren, Caleb Martin, Jaycan Martin, Olivia Martin and Jayana Martin.
