Mc Kenzie, TNTrezevant, Tenn. - Mr. Douglas Leverne McCormick, 63, of Trezevant, died at his home on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
Memorial services are Tuesday, June 6, at 11 a.m. at Mount Ararat Baptist Church in Trezevant.
It was Doug’s wish that no flowers be purchased, please, so donations can be made to his family or a children’s charity of your choice instead of flowers.
Mr. McCormick was born May 13, 1960, in Oneida, New York, to Leverne McCormick and Shirley Schmidtka. He was a corrections officer for the New York Department of Corrections. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Kenneth, a sister, Gorgene, his stepmother, Blanche and a stepfather, Emil.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife, Deanna McCormick, children, Nathaniel, Joshua, Kaycee, and Jacob, brothers, Roger, Dennis, Richard, William, Eric, John, Ronnie Joe, Raymond, Jerimiah, Joseph, and Natalio, sisters, Penny, Wendy, Rose, Marjorie, and Robin.
