Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Dwayne W. Matlock, 85, are Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery - McKenzie.
Mr. Matlock, was born in Carroll County, Tenn. on September 16, 1947 to Wiley F and Rosa Lee Langley Matlock. He worked for Pepsi Bottling Company in Memphis for 20 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Hedge (Tim) of Dukedom, Shelby Price of Dresden, Rose Green of Memphis and Gloria Phillips of Memphis, a brother, Jerry Matlock of McKenzie and sisters, Fay Hartsler of McKenzie Dorothy Sue Horton of Huntingdon and Janice Bartholomew of Tulsa, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Peggy H. Matlock and brother, William Matlock.
