McKenzie’s Annual Easter Egg Drop is April 1

McKENZIE — McKenzie Chamber of Commerce and Industry is sponsoring the second annual Easter Egg Drop on Saturday, April 1 at McKenzie City Park, Como Street, McKenzie.

Approximately 50,000 plastic eggs will be dropped from a helicopter starting at 9 a.m.

Last year, all age groups participated at a single time. This year, the hunt is divided into separate time slots according to the child’s age.

Times are as follows: 9:30 a.m. — ages 0-2; 10 a.m. — ages 3-4; 10:30 a.m. — ages 5-7; and ages 8-10 — 11 a.m.

In addition to the egg drop, there are other activities including balloon twisting, face painting, food trucks, jumpy houses, the Easter Bunny, photo props, and prizes.

The event is free of charge and sponsored by members of the McKenzie Chamber of Commerce.
