Former Residents, Business Owners Enjoyed Return Visit to McKenzie

Posted

It was with joy and excitement to have visited McKenzie the Tea Festival weekend. The city looked vibrant and fresh. Both the business and residential areas visually looked well cared for.

We attended both the high school and university football games which were very enjoyable. The Tea Festival and Farmer’s Market were a hoot.

I purchased a carton of 18 green eggs at the market for a very reasonable price. We had good meals at the local restaurants that have sprung up the last few years. The overall experience made me remember how McKenzie was a fantastic place to have been raised in and it still seems like a wonderful small town to be parents.

We can all be proud of this little city. The City Park was nicely decorated and inviting, however one of the vendors was selling F...Biden flags-this park is not the place to promote their agenda.

We do not need Confederate, F...Trump, or F...Biden flags in our park where we have so wonderfully promoted the diversity and history of our city and county’s veterans.

The City of McKenzie and the McKenzie Banner are doing a great job.
