The following cases were heard in Carroll County General Sessions Court on May 26 and 27.
Two persons were bound over the Grand Jury of the Carroll County Circuit Court.
Jessie Dougherty, Highway 22, Dresden, bound over on charge of schedule II, IV, and VI drugs - manufacture, deliver, sell or possession; dismissed, theft of merchandise.
Tony Q. Reed, Bain Road, Big Sandy, bound over on charge of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm with intent to go armed - dangerous felony; reckless driving, evading arrest; schedule I, II, VI drugs, with intent to manufacture, deliver, sell or possess; resist stop; unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
The following resulted in a guilty plea or finding.
Marcus Bardwell, Fulton Road, Martin, guilty, possession of drug paraphernalia, $150 fine, unsupervised probation for 11/29.
Mark Barksdale, Richardson Avenue, McKenzie, guilty of lesser offense of reckless endangerment, $350 fine, supervised probation for 11/29.
Terrance Antonio Butler, Jr., Elm Street, McKenzie, guilty to lesser charge of theft, must pay restitution, no contact with victims; dismissed, theft, criminal trespass.
Regina Dawn Brotherton, Hollowelll Road, Buena Vista, guilty, public intoxication, no sentence listed.
Steven Crawford, Main Street, Trezevant, guilty, unlawful drug paraphernalia, $150 fine, supervised probation for 8/29; dismissed, driving while revoked and simple possession.
Billy Matthew Harrison, Seminary Road, McKenzie, guilty to lesser charge of DUI-first offense, $600 fine, supervised probation, 45 days in jail, not to drive for two years.
Jennifer Lynn Jordan, Presson Road, McKenzie, guilty, public intoxication, $25 fine.
DeMarco Joy, Bates Street, South Fulton, guilty, probation violation, 10 days in jail.
Deon Matthews, Hames Street, McKenzie, guilty, driving while revoked - second or later offense, $250 fine, 10 days in jail, unsupervised probation 11/19.
Ronald T. Parker, Jr., Mebanewood Drive, Huntingdon, guilty, public intoxication, $25 fine.
Michele Ridgeway, Highway 114, Hollow Rock, guilty, probation violation, 10 days in jail, probation extended for seven months.
