HUNTINGDON — The following cases were heard in Carroll General Sessions Court on June 15 and 16.
Cases bound over to Carroll County Circuit Court were:
Stacy Michelle Cochran, Humphrey Road, Huntingdon, Bound Over for Entering Contraband – Intoxicant/Drugs in a Penal Facility and Possession of Schedule II Drugs – Meth; Dismissed Charges of DUI – First Offense, Leaving Scene of Accident – Property Damage, and Financial Responsibility Law.
Mary K. Decker, South Grove Road, Memphis, Bound Over for Theft of Property-$2,500 to $10,000, Possession of Schedule II Drugs – Cocaine - .5 grams or greater, and Possession of Schedule II Drugs – Meth.
Blake Matthew Todd, Manor Street, Marion, Arkansas, Bound Over for Theft of Property - $2,500 - $10,000; Dismissed Charges of Possession of Schedule II Drugs – Cocaine, Possession of Schedule II Drugs – Meth, and Burglary – Other than Habitation.
Michael Newbill, Jr., Highway 77, Atwood, bound over, Evading Arrest, Reckless Endangerment, Theft of Merchandise, Driving While Suspended.
The following cases resulted in guilty verdicts or guilty pleas:
Shauna Foster, Hwy 79 Lane, Atwood, Guilty of Aggravated Criminal Trespass, No Contact and $20 Restitution to victim; Dismissed Charge of Cruelty To Animals.
Phillip Allen Gordon, Hwy 220, Cedar Grove, Guilty of Failure to Appear and Probation Violation, Probation Revoked; Dismissed Charge of Failure to Appear.
Thomas Lee Keele, Big Buck Road, Trezevant, Guilty of Assault, six months probation, continue mental health meds.
Jason Eric Meggs, New Bethel Road, Cedar Grove, Guilty of DUI – First Offense and Probation Violation, $350 Fine, 30 Days Jail and 11/27 Supervised Probation; Dismissed Charges of Implied Consent – MISD, Violation of Financial Responsibility Law, Driving on the Right Violation, and Unlawful Removal/Alteration of Registration Tag.
Chase Norden, Bell Store Road, McKenzie, Guilty of Probation Violation, 90 Days Jail concurrent with Henry County sentence.
Tony Sprouse, Highway 105 Trezevant, Guilty, Disorderly Conduct, $50 fine and costs, 30-day suspended sentence, 30 days unsupervised probation.
Charlotte Wilson, Westport Road, Westport, Guilty of Allowing Dog to Run at Large, $50 fine.
The following case was granted pre-trial or judicial diversions:
Trevor L. Lambuth, Dale Road, Henry, Pre-Trial Diversion for Theft of Merchandise-Up To $1,000, No contact with Huntingdon retail business, 11/29 Unsupervised Probation, and $28.18 Restitution to victim.
Elizabeth Sue Smith, Mann Road, Hollow Rock, Pre-Trial Diversion for Theft of Merchandise – Shoplifting, No contact with Huntingdon retail business and $59.59 Restitution to Huntingdon business.
Austin D. Taylor, McClure Street McKenzie, Pre-Trial Diversion for Domestic Assault, No violent contact with victim and Unsupervised Probation for 6 months; Dismissed Charges of Simple Possession/Casual Exchange and Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.
Cayce Denae Walker, Highway 436, Trezevant, Pre-Trial Diversion for Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, 11/29 Supervised Probation and Must Complete 90 Days of IOP and provide proof to the court.
The following cases were dismissed:
Justin Bowden, Macedonia Road, Henry, Dismissed Charges of Sexual Offender Registration Form Contents Required, Violation Financial Responsibility Law, Driving Unregistered Vehicle on Hwy, and Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.
Miguel Angel Mejias, Walnut Circle, McKenzie, dismissed Owner of Violent Dog.
