First Baby of 2022 Arrived On January 3 at HCMC

PARIS — Samuel David Gilbert was born at 4:51 p.m. on Monday, January 3, becoming the first baby born at Henry County Medical Center in 2022. Samuel, who is the son of Bill and Tara Gilbert of Camden, TN arrived weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19 inches long.

Samuel was delivered by Dr. Paul Locus, OB/GYN and has an older brother who was also born at Henry County Medical Center.

Per tradition, the Gilberts were presented a basket from Henry County Medical Center including baby items and a Wal-Mart gift card for delivering the first baby of the New Year at HCMC.

The HCMC Women’s Center is state-of-the-art in the birthing experience. From pre-natal to post-natal, we will meet your needs:
