Huntingdon High, Middle Schools Hosting Basketball Tournaments This Weekend

Huntingdon High School and Huntingdon Middle School are each hosting basketball tournaments this weekend, beginning Friday, December 27.

The 2024 Point Guard Coca-Cola Christmas Tournament at HHS includes six girls teams and eight boys teams from the area.

The boys play a bracket-style tournament, with the first round on Friday: Gibson County vs. USJ (10:30 a.m.); Clarksburg vs. Greenfield (1:30 p.m.); Riverside vs. Lake County (4:30 p.m.); Huntingdon vs. West Carroll (7:30 p.m.).

The second round is Saturday. Games to determine final standings are Monday, December 30.

The girls play a round-robin slate over the three days. First round games on Friday include Greenfield vs. Camden (12 p.m.); Gibson County vs. Clarksburg (3 p.m.); Huntingdon vs. West Carroll (6 p.m.).

The Huntingdon Middle School Christmas Tournament includes four boys teams in a bracket and three girls teams playing round-robin over two days.

The boys first round is Friday. Huntingdon faces Beaver at 11:30 a.m. Northeast and Henry play at 1 p.m. The consolation game is Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by the championship at 2 p.m.

The girls play three games on Saturday: Beaver vs. Huntingdon at 9:30 a.m.; Beaver vs. Lakewood at 12:30 p.m.; Lakewood vs. Huntingdon at 3:30 p.m.
