Drug Possession — Chad C. Hedge, 44, of Cedar Grove was charged with simple possession of schedule II and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia on June 1 at Walmart in Huntingdon.
According to the report by Officer Labe Ezell, he responded to a call about a shoplifter at Walmart, and, upon arrival, Walmart identified Hedge as the shoplifter. While patting Hedge down, Ezell found a baggie containing 1.75 grams of a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine in a pocket of Hedge’s shorts. A set of digital scales with drug residue was found in Hedge’s backpack. Walmart declined to press charges for theft, but Hedge was banned from all Walmart properties for one year.
Drugs, Window Tint — Dalton Elias Adams, 26, of Mount Vernon, Indiana, was cited for simple possession/casual exchange and a window tint violation during a June 8 traffic stop in Huntingdon.
Officer Michael Verner reported he pulled over a vehicle driven by Adams in the Walmart parking lot due to a window tint violation. Verner detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, and Adams was found to have a small amount of marijuana in one of his pockets.
