Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for James “Jimmy” D. Taylor are Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Apostolic Faith Church, Bradford. Visitation is Saturday at the church 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Yorkville Cemetery. Brother Steve Gearin is the officiant and James Todd III, John Michael Chappell, Douglas Taylor, Wayne Dill, Tim Hutcherson and David Spikes are the pallbearers.
Mr. Taylor was born November 6, 1946 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Darrell “D.D.” and Louise Barnett Taylor.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, June Todd Taylor of McKenzie, sisters, Elizabeth Taylor (Doug) of Puryear, Phyllis Taylor ( David) of Paris and Sylvia Vinson(Sid) of Erin, and two brothers, Douglas Taylor (Lisa) of Buchanan and Wayne Dill of Paris.
He is preceded in death by his mother, his father and step-mother, Earline Taylor and a sister, Teresa Parker.
