Jessica Moore Crowned McKenzie Homecoming Queen

Jessica Moore is the 2022 Basketball Homecoming Queen for McKenzie High School.

The queen is the eighteen-year-old daughter of Tyler and Debbie Moore. She is a member of the Lady Rebel Soccer Team where she was Offensive Player of the Year and a member of Rebel Cheer where she serves as co-captain. Jessica is also a member of the M-Club and Minority Club. Jessica plans to attend a four-year university to major in nursing. She was escorted by junior Bryant Haynes, son of Penny Haynes and Travelle Johnson.

She was crowned by junior basketball player Bryson Steele, son of Brian and Brittany Steele, and junior cheerleader Alajah Gilbert, daughter of LaShonda Williams.

Dani Dyer, 17, is the daughter of Ryan and Susan Dyer. She is a four-year member of the Lady Rebel Basketball team, a Carroll County Youth Leadership participant, senior class secretary, and was elected by her senior class as “Most Likely to Be Famous” and “Most Athletic.” Dani is a member of the Distinguished Scholar program, Beta Club, FCA, Pep Club, DECA, where she serves as president, FTA, where she serves as president, Student Council, where she serves as reporter, Leo Club, where she serves as vice president, YoungLife, and First Baptist Church Youth. Dani plans to attend Mississippi State University. She was escorted by senior Zayden McCaslin, son of Derrick McCaslin and April Minor.

Wynter Baucum, 18, is the daughter of Cory and Renee Baucum. She is a member of Beta Club, FTA, Pep Club, and YoungLife. Wynter plans to attend University of Tennessee at Knoxville and major in education. She was escorted by junior Zach Aird, son of Matt and Misty Aird.

Jaden Barton, 17, daughter of Nick and Chasidy Barton. She is a four-year member of the Lady Rebel Softball and Lady Rebel Golf teams, a Carroll County Youth Leadership participant, and the Wendy Heisman Scholarship winner. Jaden is a member of the Distinguished Scholars program, Beta Club, where she serves as parliamentarian, HOSA, DECA, FCA, where she serves as president, McKenzie Maniacs, where she serves as president, M-Club, and Ruthville Baptist Church Youth, and she participated in the Carroll County STEM program. Jaden plans to attend Texas Tech University and major in pre-med. She was escorted by senior Carson Burke, son of Adam and Raeleen Burke.

Taylor Hall, 17, is the daughter of Chris and Kim Hall. She is a three-year member of the Lady Rebel Soccer team, three-year member of the Rebel Cheer team where she serves as captain, and was elected by her senior class as “Kindest.” Taylor is a member of the Distinguished Scholar program, Beta Club, FTA, FCA, Pep Club, and YoungLife. Taylor plans to attend a four-year university to major in education. She was escorted by senior Giancarlo Cevallos, son of Annette O’Neil.
