Mary Ann Sydnor

McKENZIE - Visitation for Mrs. Mary Ann Sydnor is January 8, 2022, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home in McKenzie Tennessee with her funeral following at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McKenzie. 

Mrs. Sydnor died at her home on January 4, 2022 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 77. Mary Ann was born July 17, 1944.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Gene Sydnor and parents, Roy and Mattie Allen and brother, Phillip Allen. She leaves behind three sons, Mark Sydnor (m. Mark Pittman) of Batesville Mississippi, Kevin Sydnor (m. Albert dela Cruz) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Anthony Sydnor (m. Tara Sydnor) of Medina, Tennessee, 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Sydnor, Kristofer Sydnor (m. Veronica Sydnor), Kari Plant (m. Logan Plant), Taylor Gowan (m Reggie Gowan) and Anna Hazelwood, 5 great-grandchildren, Eric, Eva, Ryan, Kainon and Lynleigh. She also leaves behind 2 sisters, Peggy Hutchison (late Donald Hutchison) and Martha Hastings (m. James Hastings), both of McKenzie.
