Posted
The City of McKenzie is hosting an All-City Party on the downtown square on Thursday, September 15, 2022, 6-7 p.m. with the final 2022 Nights on Broadway immediately following at 7 p.m.

The City of McKenzie is honoring three long-time business people who are retiring: James Padgett (DDS), Linda Coleman (Heartworks), and Marvin Newman (McKenzie Auto Parts).

Additionally, this celebration is in recognition of the award McKenzie recently won for Small City Progress.

McKenzie businesses are invited to set up in the downtown square, Veterans Park, with snacks, promotional items, or other materials they choose to give away.

Vendors at the Farmers Market vendors will set up in the downtown Veterans Park in the square along with many businesses and industries. There will be free hot dogs, chips and drinks for the first 200 party guests and lots of give-aways and goodies including cake.

If you have missed out on the fresh summer produce, this is your chance to catch up and sample the just picked okra, squash, peas, tomatoes, fall gourds, breads, cookies, jams, jellies, home décor, natural cleaning products, candles, organic poultry and more.

The celebration starts at 6:00 p.m. and music by the Fajita Brothers Band begins at 7:00 p.m. so be sure to bring your lawn chair to enjoy music under the stars.

The public is invited to this free event. Signs will be set up in front of the tables with the business’s logo on them.
