Domestic Assault — Zareya Venae Webber, 21, Park Cove, McKenzie was charged with domestic assault after an incident on July 29 at the Park Cove residence.

Officers Dalton Raspberry and Cody Coleman responded to a call at the residence, where they found Terrence Roy lying in the floor. He said Miss. Webber punched him in the face. She claimed she was attempting to retrieve her personal belongings and Mr. Roy blocked her access.

Webber was arrested on two counts of domestic assault after she assaulted Roy and another person. The officers observed boxes of ammunition, which was seized because Roy was a convicted felon.

Resisting Arrest — Victor Manuel Hernandez, Jr., 20, Cherry Avenue, McKenzie was charged with resisting arrest on July 30.

Officer Darren Davis filed the charges after he observed Hernandez pull from behind a McKenzie business, park his car, and ran on foot into the woods. He later turned himself and was charged with resisting arrest and driving without a license. He was transported to Carroll County Jail.

Speeding, Driving on Suspended License — Ryan Anthony Hillliard, 33, Voss Lane, Huntingdon, was charged with speeding and driving on suspended license after a traffic stop on August 1.

Officer Kyle Beauchamp observed Hilliard’s car going 71 in a 55 mph zone and discovered the suspended status.

Speeding, Driving on a Suspended License — Marquavius C. Cunningham, 22, Seymour Loop, Humboldt, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after a traffic stop on July 27.

Officer Cody Coleman clocked the vehicle traveling 38 in a 20 mile per hour zone and initiated the stop. The driver produced a Tennessee ID but no license because those were suspended. He was cited into Carroll County General Sessions Court.
