Theft — A theft of a valuable dog was reported to McKenzie Police on Monday morning, November 1, by Tyler Ruddy, a Linden Street resident. According to the report filed by Officer Dalton Raspberry, Ruddy advised he had fed and watered his dog the previous evening and left the residence around 7 p.m. and his dog was there when he left. When he got up, the dog was gone. The dog is known as a Treeing Walker Coonhound. He is brown, black, and white and goes by Max. The dog is valued at $10,000.

Multiple Charges — On Tuesday morning, November 2, McKenzie Police got a phone call regarding a male subject possibly under the influence walking in the roadway on Hwy 79. Officer Dalton Raspberry, who filed the report, assisted another officer who made contact with the subject near a retail business.

Raspberry knew the person to be Clayton Milton, 37, of McKenzie. Milton was questioned and acknowledged that he had smoked Meth within the last 24 hours. He was arrested at that point for Public Intoxication. A search of Milton revealed a baggie of substance field tested to be methamphetamines and also found a grinder in a separate baggie. He was additionally charged with Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Meth and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Public Intoxication — A retail business contacted McKenzie Police on Wednesday morning, November 3, in reference to a possibly intoxicated female. Several officers responded with one of them recognizing her as Christie M. Fuzzell, 41, of McKenzie. She admitted to be under the influence of prescription pain patches and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and taken to Carroll County Jail. The report was filed by Officer Dalton Raspberry.

Driving On Suspended License — Officer Trey Boucher observed Raymond Lockett, 43, of McKenzie, pull up to a retail business on Wednesday evening, November 3, to get fuel. Boucher had prior knowledge that Lockett had a suspended driver’s license and arrested Lockett while he was in his vehicle. Lockett refused to get out of his vehicle and was removed from it and placed into custody. He was charged with Driving On Suspended License-8th Offense and resisting arrest. Lockett was transported to Carroll County Jail.

Multiple Charges — According to a report filed by Officer Trey Boucher, Maximillano Cabacera Cisneros was backing in a parking space at a local business on Thursday evening, November 4, and backed into a vehicle and the building causing damage. Cisneros walked away from the scene and did not report the accident. Police arrived a short time later to investigate the incident. Boucher located Cisneros, who smelled of an intoxicant, and was arrested for Public Intoxication so he couldn’t drive another vehicle. He was also charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Failure to Report the Accident and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Driving on Suspended/Revoked License — On Friday morning, November 5, Officer Justin Brister observed a gold Ford Taurus slowly coming to a stop in front of his vehicle on Hwy 124. A check of the license tag found the driver, Trevour Harcrow, of Trezevant, to be driving on a revoked license. Harcrow was arrested and charged with fourth offense Driving on Suspended License and transported to jail.

Driving on Suspended License — Officer Darren Davis witnessed a vehicle traveling above the speed limit on Cherrywood Road near a business early Sunday morning, November 7. Davis initiated the traffic stop and found the driver, Michael Jones, 21, of Memphis, to be driving on a suspended license. He was cited for Speeding and Driving on a Suspended Drivers License.
