Multiple Charges — According to a report filed by Sgt. Kyle Beauchamp, he made a traffic stop on a vehicle Thursday, November 18, due to potential violation of a protection order. The driver was known to be Ben Goodwin, 33, of McKenzie, who has a Temporary Order of Protection against him and had the “protected person” with him. Goodwin was initially arrested for Violation of Protection Order and was additionally charged with Driving On Revoked License-Second Offense. He was transported to Carroll County Jail while his vehicle was impounded by McKenzie Police.
