McKenzie’s Rebels started baseball playoff action rolling Big Sandy 20-0 in three innings on Thursday, May 5. The Rebels scored those 20 runs on 10 hits with five runs in the first inning and 15 runs in the second inning.

McKenzie’s Rebels started baseball playoff action rolling Big Sandy 20-0 in three innings on Thursday, May 5. The Rebels scored those 20 runs on 10 hits with five runs in the first inning and 15 runs in the second inning.

Several Rebels had multiple hits in the contest including Ty Anderson with a pair of base hits and drawing a walk driving in three runs and scoring three runs, Jackson Cassidy with two base hits and a walk scoring three runs and driving in a run, Zayden McCaslin had a single and a triple driving in four runs and scoring three runs, Nolan Renfro hit a double that drove in three runs and scored one run, and Braden Birmingham hit two singles that drove in two runs and scored a run. Nearly all but two Rebels scored runs in the contest.

Nolan Renfro pitched all three innings for McKenzie giving up no hits, no walks, and struck out eight batters.
