McKenzie Rotary Hosts Annual Charity Auction

Posted

McKENZIE (November 4) — Members of the Rotary Club of McKenzie hosted its annual charity auction to raise money for its service activities in McKenzie.

Christy Williams, president, welcomed everyone to the live auction, held Monday, November 4 at Overflow Church. Auctioned were many donated items of merchandise and services from area businesses and individuals.

The auction has a multi-decade tradition for the local service club. Proceeds from the annual event helps fund the annual Honors Banquets at the three McKenzie schools, buy winter jackets for children in foster care, helps support Christmas Angel Tree project of Beta Sigma Phi, and fund MHS students to attend leadership training.

Members of the club thank area businesses and individuals for supporting this annual event. Also thanks to Overflow Church, the MHS Interact Club, and the many persons who bought items during the auction.
