During Homecoming, the McKenzie High School Student Council sponsored a canned food drive for United Neighbors. Students were asked to bring in non-perishable food items such as crackers, cereal, bottled water, canned foods, etc. On Homecoming day, the students had 10 minutes to build a tower out of their donations. While all classes were successful with building a tower, the senior class was able to build the tallest tower during the competition. The MHS student body and faculty greatly exceeded expectations with an overwhelming amount of donations for United Neighbors.
