McKENZIE — McKenzie’s historic Mount Olivet Cemetery was vandalized on or about April 7.
The cemetery, located on Cherrywood Road, had several headstones overturned.
Al Everett, a board member on the cemetery association’s board, reported the incident to McKenzie Police Department on April 7, at 10 a.m.
Officers Steven Scott and Dalton Raspberry responded to the scene, where several of the headstones had been toppled.
The report indicates the vandals could have been children playing in the cemetery.
