Blueberry Crunch

1-20oz. can crushed pineapple
3 cups blueberries
1/2 cup sugar (if desire sweeter, use 3/4cup)
1 box yellow or white cake mix
1 1/2 stick butter or margarine
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Spread pineapple and juice in bottom of 9x13 inch dish. Add blueberries on top of pineapple and spread sugar on top of berries. Add cake mix evenly. Slice butter pats and place on top. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top. Sprinkle additional handful of sugar on top. Cook on 350 degrees approximately 45 minutes. Nuts will be toasted and light brown.
 
German Style Burgers
1 lb. ground beef
½ cup finely shredded raw potatoes
½ cup finely chopped onions
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon oil
Combine all ingredients except oil in medium bowl. Shape mixture into 4 patties about 1 inch thick. Heat oil in large skillet. Cook burgers on low heat until done as preferred. 5 to 7 minutes on each side.
 
Chicken Divine
1 pkg frozen broccoli -cooked
2 cup cooked chicken
½ cup shredded cheese (sharp)
1 can cream of chicken soup
½ cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Dash of curry powder
Bread crumbs
Place in order: broccoli, chicken, cheese. Then combine soup, lemon juice, and mayonnaise and put over chicken. Cover with bread crumbs and bake 30 minutes. May put extra cheese on top if desired.
 
Spaghetti Meat Sauce
1/8 cup salad oil
1 ½ lb. ground beef (browned)
1 cup tomato juice
½ teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 onion cooked golden
1 can tomato paste
½ teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon salt
Simmer 45 minutes.
Shish Kabobs
4 steaks cut in 1-inch cubes
Green peppers cut in chunks
1 large bottle Catalina Dressing
Cherry tomatoes
Onions cut into chunks
Fresh mushrooms
Place first 4 ingredients in large flat dish. Cover with Catalina dressing. Marinate for 4 hours in refrigerator. Place mushrooms in marinade for 1 hours before grilling. Place all ingredients on skewers. Grill over hot coals. Yield 5-6 servings.
 
Fudge Delight
1 cup sugar
¼ cup self-rising flour
1 stick butter
5 heaping teaspoons cocoa
2 eggs
1 cup pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla
Melt butter and cocoa together. Mix together and pour in pie pan or 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Recipe can be doubled and baked in 13x9 pan for 30 minutes.
 
Hot Chicken Salad
4 cups cooked and
chopped chicken
½ can carnation milk
2 teaspoon minced onion
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup mayonnaise
1 can mushroom soup
1 cup diced celery
½ cup slivered almonds
¼ teaspoon pepper
4 hard-boiled eggs
Mix well. Top with 2 cups finely crushed potato chips. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes or until bubbly.
