Simple Assault — Justin Quinn Barnhart, 33, of 71 Traywick Road, McKenzie was charged with simple assault following a November 14 incident at McKenzie residence.

According to the report by Deputy Kenny Tucker, Barnhart went to a residence on Traywick Road to pick up a vehicle belonging to him, but while there, he grabbed a female victim, pushed her to the floor in the carport, and dragged her across the carport floor. Barnhart left in the vehicle before officers arrived at the scene.

False Pretenses — Amber D. Camp, 30, of Jackson was charged with false pretenses following a December 17 traffic accident near McKenzie.

According to the report by Deputy Scotty Davis, Camp crashed her car at the intersection of Hinkledale Road and Enon Church Road, and when Davis asked for her identification, Camp gave a false name and date of birth.

Theft — Baryon Oneil Johnson, 49, of Wildersville was charged with theft under $1,000 on December 13 at the Carroll County Jail.

According to the report, Johnson allegedly used another inmate’s account to make $135 in phone calls without permission.
