Possession of Sch. II — On April 9, Deputy Alex Sherwood was dispatched to a home in Clarksburg in reference to a 911 hangup. He arrived at the residence and asked if he could come in to check things out. After entering he could smell burnt marijuana. The female advised she had just smoked a joint. While speaking with the defendant, Rodney Lee Bailey, 58, of Yuma, in plain view there were two glass meth pipes and a baggy containing meth. The defendant claimed paraphernalia and was placed under arrest.

Public Intoxication — On April 9, the Sheriff’s Office received a call for a welfare check on Scotty Foster, 46, of Huntingdon. The caller stated that Scotty was stuck on his side by side and is disabled. After learning how rough the trails were, they called the rescue squad to come assist in finding Scotty and getting him to safety. Foster was located laying under the driver’s door, and unconscious in the middle of the woods. He was awaken and extracted from the side by side with no injuries; he was confused and thought he was still on his property which he was not. He was placed into custody for public intoxication and transported to Carroll County Jail. He was found in clear danger to himself and the public and very intoxicated according to the report.
