Aggravated Assault — Alvin Lenard Walker Jr., 30, of Milan was charged with aggravated assault and domestic assault following a March 28 incident near Huntingdon.
Deputy Michael Mulligan reported he responded to an address on Old Stage Road after receiving a call about a domestic assault and spoke with Destiney Floyd. She told Mulligan that she and her boyfriend (Walker) had been talking next to his vehicle on the side of Griggs Chapel Road, and when she started to walk away, Walker accelerated the vehicle in her direction, causing her to fear for her safety. Video surveillance from a nearby residence supported Floyd’s account. Walker was later apprehended by authorities at his residence in Milan.
Drug Possession — Michael Wayne Shackleford, 26, of 344 Pleasant Hill, Hollow Rock, was cited for simple possession of marijuana by Deputy Steven Scott during a March 19 traffic stop in Bruceton.
Drugs, Criminal Impersonation — Charles Anthony Tillman, 32, of 1170 Bethel Church Road, Huntingdon, was charged with possession of a schedule II drug and criminal impersonation during a March 19 traffic stop conducted by Deputy Chance Townes on Rochell Road near McKenzie.
Simple Possession — Rebecca Anderson, 20, of 540 Enon Church Road, McKenzie, was cited for simple possession of marijuana during a March 19 traffic stop conducted by Deputy Steven Scott on Buena Vista Road near Huntingdon.
Drug Possession — Jamie Garrison, 41, of 7510 Highway 104 West, Cedar Grove, was cited for possession of a schedule IV drug by Deputy Michael Sevarns during a March 19 incident on Wood Hill Road.
Burglary — Deputy Michael Smith took a report about a break-in at 15925 Highway 424 in Yuma on March 5.
Resident Claye Reynolds told Smith that someone had broken into his home and had taken a Stoeger 20-gauge shotgun, an H & R 12-gauge pump shotgun, a Marlin 597 22 rifle, a Vizio 42-inch TV, and a 55-inch TV, all valued together at $1,750.
Theft — Deputy Kenny Tucker took a report on March 6 about theft of items from private property at 10120 Old Stage Road, Cedar Grove.
Resident Beverly Gowan told the deputy that someone came on her property sometime during the night and took three items from her front porch, including a 50-foot green and yellow water hose valued at $50, a Craftsman 26-gallon air compressor valued at $350, and two five-gallon cans of gas valued at $45.
Burglary — Deputy Michael Smith took a report on March 6 about a burglary at 2322 Roan Creek Levee Road in Yuma.
Resident Rex Hart told Smith that someone broke into his house and took an 870 20-gauge shotgun valued at $650, a Remington Spartan over-and-under shotgun valued at $800, and a 55-inch smart TV valued at $500.
