Driving on Revoked License — According to a report on May 23rd by Deputy Townes, the Sheriff’s Department received a call regarding an unknown male riding his three-wheeler down the road yelling and saying he was going to kill someone. Another call came in from Little General in Trezevant regarding the same male, Roger Lawson, 35, of McKenzie, went into the store cussing people. The owner wanted him to leave but didn’t want to press charges. Lawson was told to go home and then another call came in from a resident saying he was on his property and would like him removed. He was then arrested for driving on revoked and disorderly conduct.
Unlawful Drugs — According to a report by Deputy Daniel Thomas on May 24, he was patrolling the Cedar Grove area when he observed a Dodge Durango driving off the road into the grass. He attempted a traffic stop but the driver kept driving through a stop sign and throwing white substances out of his window and at times reaching towards the floorboard. He kept running from the police until he got boxed in at the Cedar Grove Country Store parking lot. The driver was Nick White, 32, of Cedar Grove. After a search was held there was methamphetamine found in the vehicle and in the road where he threw out the substances.
