Shirley Anne Hubbard, 87, a longtime resident of Weakley County, died April 20, 2021 in Columbia, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1933 to Lee and Martha Allison. She was the eldest of three daughters.
A memorial service is Friday, June 11, 11 a.m. at Tumbling Creek Baptist Church in Gleason. Reverend Gene Price will officiate followed by a graveside devotion at Tumbling Creek Cemetery.
Shirley married Bill Hubbard on June 11, 1950 and they resided in the St. Louis area, rearing three children until 1977, when they moved to Gleason, Tenn.
She was predeceased by her parents; Bill Hubbard, her husband of 56 years; her daughter, Paula Spratley, and her sisters, Joyce Needham and June Montoya.
The family requests memorials be made to Tumbling Creek Baptist Church or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
