Funeral services for Shirley Ross Smith are Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Rushing Cemetery, Gleason.
Mrs. Smith, 79, died Monday, December 20, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was a member of First Baptist Church- McKenzie and a secretary for Farm Service Agency. She was born September 4, 1942 in Gleason to C.E. and Ruth Ellis Ross.
She is survived by a daughter, Talma Blackard , two sons. Michael (Mandy) Wade and Jason ( Marilyn) Wade and two grandchildren, Alyssa Wade and Dalton Wade all of Gleason.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband James E. Smith.
