McKENZIE (December 2) — The Refinery, formerly known as Flex Fitness, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the new owners and added gym equipment.

Josh and Alisha Crawford and Mark Anderson, II, and wife, Heather are the new owners. It is located at 2113 Cedar Street in McKenzie and offers 24/7 access to its members. The cost is $29 monthly for an individual, $39 for couples, and $49 for families. It presently serves patrons from age 16 to persons in their 80s.

Brian Gilbert is the manager. The facility offers classes in Dance2Fit, HITT, Groove, and Yoga.

Josh Crawford said $50,000 of new equipment has been added and the workout space has been enlarged.

The refinery wants patrons to help refine who they are. This is an investment in the health of the community, said Crawford.
