Three Arrested in Henry County Thefts

PARIS, Tenn. (December 20, 2021) - Three Henry County men were arrested and a fourth man is being sought in connections with recent thefts in the county, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.

On December 18, 2021, a search warrant was served at 340 Morris Rd. by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Metro Crime unit as part of an investigation of area thefts, at which time the following property was recovered. 

A Kubota tractor, bush hog, brush cutter, Scag zero turn mower and two generators, which were reported taken from a barn on Shady Grove Road. on December 17.

A 1996 Honda 300 ATV was reported stolen from a Hwy 641 Puryear residence on December 18.  

Jonathan Blanton, 36, of Puryear was charged with 9 counts of Theft of Property, Burglary and Accessory After the Fact. He is held under a $50,000 bond pending arraignment on Tuesday. 

 Jordan Hartsfield, 27, of Paris was also arrested on a warrant for Violation of Probation. He is held without bond pending an appearance in Circuit Court on January 14.

Theft of Property warrants were issued for Adam Kennedy of Morris Rd. Puryear.

In addition, a 1986 Ford van, which was reported stolen from Oak Grove Rd North on December 18 has been recovered from another location. Jonathan Blanton was charged with this theft also.
