Three MHS Students Participate in STEM Program

McKenzie High School congratulates Kristen Rimmer, Rachel Essary and Emma Smith for being selected to attend the Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) Inspire Program sponsored by the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce.

Each year, three freshmen students from the high schools in Carroll County are selected to attend this prestigious program. The STEM program is designed to promote student achievement and academic excellence through hands-on experimentation and open-ended thinking. Dr. Letimica Fears, a resident scientist for the Center of Science Outreach at Vanderbilt University is the lead instructor for the program
