Two Traffic Stops Net Six Arrests, Drugs

HUNTINGDON — Huntingdon Police Department arrested six out-of-area individuals during two traffic stops.
On April 1, officers discovered Schedule VI Marijuana, believed to be in excess of 170 grams, $3,940 in cash, and a handgun. Part of the drugs were vacuum sealed. Arrested were Randy Weathers and Dekenba Bryant, both believed to be from Lexington.
On April 7, officers found numerous drugs during a traffic stop. Among the drugs are what is believed to be marijuana, heroin, adderall, xanax, fentanyl, THC wax, codeine, oxycodone, and ecstasy. Also seized with the narcotics was a 9mm handgun and $12,756. Arrested were Fernando Marquez, Jonathon Esparza, Castillo Arellano, and Cesar Martinez. All four individuals had IDs showing their residence to be in Blue Island, Illinois.
