Baptist Hospital, Phipps, Walmart Offer Vaccines

The Carroll County Health Department have extended COVID-19 vaccine hours. The local Health Department administered vaccines are offered by appointment only. Extended hours are on Tuesday 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday mornings, 7 to 8 a.m. at the Carroll County Health Department located at 633 High Street, Huntingdon. To schedule an appointment, phone 866-442-5301 or register online at covid19.tn.gov.
Governor Lee announced Monday that all Tennessee adults will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccination effective April 5. Tennesseans aged 55 and older and those in Phase 2 of the state’s COVID-19 Vaccination Plan are eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations beginning Mar. 22.
Additionally, Phipps Pharmacy in McKenzie, Huntingdon and Jackson, Baptist Hospital-Carroll County in Huntingdon and its Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Clinic in McKenzie, Wal-Mart in Huntingdon and Paris, City Drugs in Gleason are all offering vaccines.

Baptist is offering the vaccine to persons 18 and up with an appointment, and aged 16 and up with high-risk health conditions.
Baptist-Carroll County has the following dates and times by appointment: March 31, 2-4 p.m.; April 6, 4-7 p.m.; April 8, 9 a.m. to noon; April 14, 9 a.m. to noon; April 15, 4 to 7 p.m., April 22, 9 a.m. to noon, April 28, 9 a.m. to noon.
