GLEASON, Tenn. - Funeral services for Wanda Swafford Taylor are Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Tumbling Creek Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the funeral home 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow at Tumbling Creek Cemetery. Dr. Gene Price and Brother Kenneth Williams are the officiants. Josh Williams, Collin Williams, Parker Williams, Owen Taylor, Dylan Taylor and Danny Snider are pallbearers.

Mrs. Taylor, was born on May 30, 1953 in Huntingdon, Tenn. She worked at Henry I Seigal, and K.T. Clay Company. She was a member of Tumbling Creek Baptist Church, Dresden Senior Citizens and Woodmen of the World, she also enjoyed country line dancing, camping and spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Clyde Taylor, daughter, Michelle Williams (Stacy) of Dresden, son, Sean Taylor (Amanda) of Gleason, her mother, Sandra Black Griffin, three sisters, Patty Birmingham (Bobby) of McKenzie, Dianne Barlow and Debbie Hines, both of Gleason, and six grandchildren, Joshua Williams ( Mi`kayla), Collin Williams, Parker Williams, Dylan Taylor, Owen Taylor and Mackenzie Taylor.

She is preceded in death by her father, Neil Swafford.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Tumbling Creek Cemetery Fund. Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
