Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE — Coach John Wilkins is hosting summer basketball camps for boys and girls during the summer.
The boys’ camp is June 20-23, 1 to 3 p.m. The girls’ camp is July 11 - 14, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Both camps are at McKenzie High School Gym and for grades 1 to 8 during next school year.
Wilkins said he is excited to host another year of Summer Basketball Camps. Coach Wilkins along with the Lady Rebels and Rebel basketball team will instruct participants in the fundamentals of the game.
Both of these teams are coming off seasons that ended at the state tournament with the Lady Rebels capturing the Gold Ball!
The cost is $65, with some scholarships available. Individuals and businesses can support the camp by sponsoring at a cost of $100. Sponsors’ names will be added to a t-shirt. Every camper receives a Basketball Camp T-shirt and basketball.
