Dr. Yarbrough is One of Hometown Health Clinic’s Newest Providers

Posted

Hometown Health Clinic has been your local community healthcare provider for more than 40 years, and part of our mission is to engage providers that live and work within the hometown communities they serve. That’s why we are proud to have the opportunity to honor one of our newest providers, Dr. Lakeshia Yarbrough, a native of Huntingdon, Tennessee. With over 10 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice-Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from Murray State University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Omicron Delta Kappa, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Lakeshia has an unyielding dedication to serving others in need and delivering holistic, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan. She is compassionate about the community she serves and strives daily to provide care that is safe, effective and best practice while staying abreast an evolving healthcare system. Lakeshia is a devoted wife and mother, and aside from being a provider, she enjoys spending time with family, church, eating, and absorbing vitamin C at the beach. Her passion is driven by the relationships she builds with patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment she holds in keeping them safe and healthy.
