TREZEVANT, Tenn. - Funeral services for Carolyn S. Pinson are Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Trezevant Church of Christ. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Trezevant Cemetery.

Carolyn S. Pinson, 94, died Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Huntingdon. She is a member of Trezevant Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a retired cook for West Carroll High School. She was born in the Christmasville Community on December 16, 1927 to Ivy B. and Inez Florence Cooper Smith.

She is survived by her daughter and daughter-in-law, Patsy (Jamie) Grooms, and Nancy Pinson, a son and son-in-law, Jeff Pinson and Gordon Bateman, seven grandchildren, Angie (Clay) Hedgepath, Jim (Heather) Hatfield, Jason (Jennifer) Pinson, Eric (Wendy) Pinson , Fara (Chad) Sudlow, Jeremiah Pinson and Luke Pinson, ten great-grandchildren, Brittany (Sam) Reeves, Jay Hatfield, Kristen Hedgepath, Jordan Hedgepath, Kiersten Sudlow, Jacob Pinson, Jacey Pinson, Hannah Pinson, Copper Pinson and Abby Chrisholm.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Quinn R. Pinson, two children, Kathy Bateman and Richard Pinson, two great-grandsons, Jack C. Pinson and Quinn L. Pinson, her sister, Catherine Cowell and two brothers, Charles Eugene Smith and Joe C. Smith. +
