Funeral services for James Lee Milton are Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home with interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Paris, Tenn. The family will receive friends on Saturday, noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Milton, 84, died Friday, July 21, 2023 at his residence. He was a member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church and worked in the pathology department at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in Henry Co., Tenn. on April 12, 1939 to John and Artie Mae Owen Milton.

He is survived by his daughters, Luwanna (Chris) Williamson of Martin, Angela Milton (Thomas McFadden) of Linden, Cassandra Milton of Atlanta and Kristen (Marcus) Milton of Atlanta, sons, James A. Milton of Trezevant and Stephen (Juanita) Milton of Toledo, OH, two sisters Laura B. Warren of Trezevant and Anita Thomas of Huntingdon, ten grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wives Gertrude Milton, Joyce Milton, Sharon Milton and companion Marva Bell, daughter Kendra Milton, son Dewayne Milton, sisters Pearl Tharpe, Mattie Joyce Porter, Annie Jean Lawrence, Peggy Ruth Henry, and brothers, John William Milton, Eddie Lewis Milton, Fred Milton and George Milton and a granddaughter.
