McKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Larry D. Blaylock are Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment is at Caledonia Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Thursday 11 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Blaylock, 73, died Monday, August 14, 2023 at his residence. He was the owner of Blaylock Maytag. He was born in McKenzie on September 8, 1949, to Clyde and Mary Lee Nanney Blaylock.
He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Joan Bookout Blaylock of McKenzie, a son, Allen Blaylock of Kenton, a daughter, Renae (Tim) Matlock of Martin, a sister, Mary Frances Bishop of Jackson, three grandchildren, Dillon (Carianna) Matlock, Logan (Amber) Matlock and Gage Blaylock and three great-great-grandchildren Steely, Silas and Miles.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Debbie Bynum and Pat Adams.
