    HUNTINGDON (August 11) — Friday night, the Huntingdon Mustangs welcomed the Lexington Tigers for the annual Quarterback Club Jamboree at Paul Ward Stadium. The preseason match-up showcased both junior varsity and varsity Mustangs with each team competing through two quarters of play. The spectators who took the opportunity to preview Huntingdon High School football were not disappointed as both Mustang squads dominated the visiting Tigers.

    PARIS (August 11) — In the final pre-season matchup before the start of the regular 2023 season, McKenzie scored early and held on to defeat the 6A Mustangs of McCracken County, 20-14. In the three-preseason game, McKenzie has been able to hold McNairy County, Lexington and McCracken County to a combined 20 points. Offensively, the Rebels have totaled 64 points in the three scrimmages.
