Trezevant Hosts Christmas Parade

TREZEVANT (December 10) — The Town of Trezevant hosted its annual Christmas Parade on Monday, December 10 along U.S. 79. The parade started at the West Carroll Elementary School and proceeded along the highway to the community churches.
Ambient temperatures hovered around 20 degrees during the parade. Many spectators chose to park their cars along the parade route and watch from the warmth of the interior. Parade winners were:
Floats – tied for first were West Carroll FFA and Pat’s Restaurant; fire truck – Atwood Fire Department; band – West Carroll High School; Animal – horses with the Coleman girls; and vehicle, R&R Towing of Lavinia. Mayor Bobby Blaylock handed out the winners’ trophies.
