Funeral services for William Sherrill Smith are Friday, July 28, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Trezevant Church of Christ, with burial to follow at Trezevant Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, 12 p.m. at the church until service time.
Mr. Smith, 80, died Sunday, July 23, 2023 at his residence. He is a member of Trezevant Church of Christ, an avid fisherman and a factory worker, working at ACCO Milan and retiring from Orscheln, Moberly, MO. He was born in rural Carroll County on May 16, 1943 to William Andrew and Etta Virginia Manns Smith.
He is survived by his son William Bradley (Deanna) Smith of Huntingdon, two sisters Patsy (Frank) Burns of Nashville and Pam (Jerry) Swearingen of Gatlinburg and two grandchildren Ashley Smith and Parker Smith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 57 years, Wanda Sauls Smith, a son, Jason D Smith, a sister, Joyce Ann Smith Newbill, and a brother, Bobby Smith.
