Two-Vehicle Accident Claims Life in County

CARROLL COUNTY (October 4) — A 56-year-old Holladay, Tenn., man lost his life in a two-car accident on Buena Vista Road at the intersection of Moore Creek Road.
According to a report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Eddie Hollingsworth, Jr., 56, Holladay, was driving a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder and Chris Todd, 44, of Bruceton was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado when the two vehicles collided at around 5 p.m. Todd was listed as injured on the accident report.
Emergency responders responded to the scene. Buena Vista was closed for a period of time while the accident was investigated.
