24th Judicial District Drug, Violent Crime Task Force Shares 2025 Statistics
From the Feb 10, 2026 e-EditionThe 24th Judicial District Drug and Violent Crime Task Force met for their annual districtwide meeting recently.
While not a comprehensive list, here are some of their 2025 statistics:
- 180 felony arrests, 201 firearms seized and 37 vehicles seized.
- 100 pounds of methamphetamine, 2.2 pounds of fentanyl, one pound of cocaine, 277 pounds of marijuana, 46 pounds of mushrooms (psilocybin), 103 pounds of THC edibles and 433 THC cartridges taken off the street.
The task force is led by Director Tim Meggs and operates at the discretion of District Attorney General Neil Thompson.
The 24th Judicial District Drug and Violent Crime Task Force encompasses Benton, Carroll and Decatur counties.
