From the Jul 29, 2025 e-EditionTREZEVANT, Tenn. - Funeral services for Alan Grant Hinson are Monday, July 28, 2025, at 4 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment will be at Trezevant Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday at 2:00 p.m. until service time.
Mr. Hinson, 52 years old, died at his home on Friday, July 25, 2025. He was an employee on a riverboat and a graduate of West Carroll High School. He was born on September 2, 1972, in Jackson to Willie Grant and Brenda Seavers Hinson.
He is survived by his mother, Brenda, sister, Roxanne Young, a niece, Beth Ann Farrell, a nephew, Dalton Young, and great-nephews and niece, Lane, Aden, and Kelly Ann.
He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Hinson, and grandparents, Clifton and Ann Seavers, and Luther and Ophelia Hinson.
