Alumni Golf Tournament is September 19
From the Aug 5, 2025 e-EditionThe McKenzie High School Alumni Association (MHSAA) Golf Tournament is Friday, September 19, at Carroll Lake Golf Club. The tournament is a 4-person scramble with a limit of 18 teams. All golfers will need to arrive by 7:45 a.m. for the 8 a.m. shotgun start.
Entry fees are $200 per team of 4, and event sponsorships for businesses are also available for $100 each. Sponsorships include recognition at both the golf tournament and the MHSAA Decades Reunion Tailgate Party at Rebel Stadium on September 19. Proceeds from the event will support the goals of the MHSAA, which include providing annual scholarships and other assistance for students of the McKenzie Special School District.
The deadline for sponsorships is Monday, September 1. Teams may register up until the day of the event. For more information, you may pick up a form at Carroll Bank & Trust in McKenzie or call the tournament director, Brian Winston (Class of 2003) at 731-352-2282.

Inglenook Book Club Elects 2027 Officers
McKENZIE — The Inglenook Book Club gathered for its monthly meeting on September 9 at Lakeside in McKenzie. President Gail Mack called the meeting to order, leading members in the Pledge of Allegiance, the Club Aim, and the Club Motto. Fourteen members responded to the roll call.
