Mrs. Ann Pearson Smith, 54, of Louisville, Kentucky, died Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Baptist Health Louisville.

Ann was born on October 17, 1971, in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to Earnest Melton and Josephine Melton.

She is preceded in death by her father, Earnest Melton.

She is survived by her husband, Prather Smith of Louisville, Kentucky; three daughters, Asia L. Melton of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Paris Smith of Huntingdon, Tennessee and London Pearson of Louisville, Kentucky; one son, Jagger Pearson of Louisville, Kentucky; two stepsons, Perell Smith and LeBron Smith; two sisters, Jackie Hampton of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Corunda Pearson; two grandchildren, Lilyanah Zaitz and Kenniya Cherry; one aunt, Lehelen Weathers; one niece, Iteonia Pearson; one step-niece, Marketa Hernandez; two nephews, Lanen Pearson and Tyshawn Pearson.
