Billy Altom

CLARKSBURG, Tenn. - Mr. Billy Altom, 71, of Clarksburg, Tennessee, died Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Jackson Madison General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2026, in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter  Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roan’s Creek Cemetery. Brother Mike Powell and Brother Ron Powell will be officiating. 

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM.

Mr. Altom was born January 11, 1955. Preceded in death by his father, James Edgar Maness; stepfather and mother, James Norman Miller and Virginia Altom Miller; wife, Patricia “Di” Diane Altom, who passed away July 16, 2026; and aunt, Jewel Gooch. He was a member of Huntingdon Lodge #106, 32nd Degree, and the Scottish Rite Consistory.

He is survived by one daughter, Kristen Altom of Clarksburg, Tennessee; one son, Brett (Makayla) Altom of Clarksburg, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Gracie Altom, Cordie Warren, Griffin Warren, Ellie McKendree, Jace McKendree, and Bronxx Altom; he was known as “Pa” to most friends and family.
