HENRY — Billy Darrell “Tripp” Wilson, III, age 42, of Henry, Tenn, died Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.
He formerly worked for Amazon in Nashville, and Tecumseh in Paris. Tripp enjoyed spending time with his family and caring for his mother. He loved being outdoors, walking, and listening to music.
Tripp was born March 13, 1982, in Paris, Tenn, to the late Billy Darrell Wilson, Jr., and Suzanne Lawson Wilson, who survives, of Henry, Tenn.
Along with his mother, he is also survived by his daughter, Kelsie Crosby of NC; his son, Kane Crosby of NC; his stepmother, Mary Wilson of Puryear, Tenn.; two sisters, Trish Wilson of Howard, OH, and Amanda (Erik) Dunn of Puryear, Tenn.; two aunts, Laurie (Kevin) Key of Puryear, Tenn., and Karen (Wayne) Scott of Henry, Tenn.; and longtime family friend, Becky Singleton.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Eric Wilson; and grandparents, Bill Wilson, Freda Wilson, And Dr. J.D. & Sarah Lawson, II.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. The body was cremated. Memorial visitation was Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
